These movements should only be preformed when all riders are stopped, both hands should always be on
the scooters handlebar when moving. The handlebar should never be released while the bike is in motion.
Greet your fellow two wheelers in a friendly universal way by using the viva moto™ salutation.
With obstruction
from protective equipment and loud traffic noises, these simple hand salutations allow for a safe acknowledgement of our fellow riders.
"I say hello"...
The first salutation uses a two fingers "V" shape, pointed
diagonally, picture 1. This salutation sends to the other rider the
message HELLO, VIVA ( To Life ) and LONG MAY YOU RIDE !
Please remember these movements should only be preformed when all the riders are safely stopped. The bikes handlebar should never be released while the bike is in motion.
"You say goodbye" ...
The second salutation is similar to the first but with the palm facing in
the opposite direction, picture 2. This salutation sends the message
THANK-YOU & VIVA, LONG MAY YOU RIDE !
"Lets twist again" ...
The third salutation is a twister. Combining the previous two salutations into one smooth motion for HELLO, VIVA and GOODBYE, LONG MAY
YOU RIDE. The hand starts with the first salutation and rotates into the second salutation. Picture 3 shows the movement two thirds completed.
